Eastwood Players Present Newsies

This past weekend, the Eastwood Players delivered an unforgettable production of Newsies, bringing energy, passion, and incredible talent to the stage. With a cast and crew of more than 80 students, the production was nothing short of extraordinary.

Audiences were swept up by the show’s dynamic choreography and the large ensemble allowed the iconic musical numbers to fill the stage with movement and excitement from start to finish.

Adding another memorable element to this year’s production was its setting. For the first time, Eastwood Players performed in a greenhouse. Through creativity, teamwork, and tremendous effort, the space was transformed into a truly unique performance venue. 

We are so grateful for all of the parents, volunteers, and local churches for playing a vital role behind the scenes—building the stage, supervising students, managing hair and makeup, costuming, and helping with countless other details that made the show possible.

From the standout performances on stage to the dedication behind the scenes, Newsies highlighted the incredible things the Eastwood community achieves together. Congratulations to the entire cast, crew, directors, and volunteers for an incredible weekend of theater!
