Shakespeare in the Park: An Eastwood Tradition

This past week, Eastwood Christian School’s annual Shakespeare in the Park brought literature to life. Students from each of our House Teams took the stage to perform their own creative editions of classic Shakespeare plays.

From clever adaptations to inspired costumes, each group captured the brilliance and delight of these plays in their own way. The Candidi Krakens took home this year’s Gilded Bard Trophy with their rendition of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Between performances, students and families enjoyed Shakespeare-themed trivia, testing their knowledge of famous lines. The day concluded with an exciting announcement for our Upper School Spring Musical — Newsies!

It was a beautiful afternoon of creativity, collaboration, and classical fun — the coming together of great plays, great teachers, and great students.
