Roman March

Each year, the Honors Latin IV class reads portions of Caesar's De Bello Gallico. As part of this unit, they present units about the Roman Army, Roman Weapons, the Gallic Wars and Roman Battle Tactics. Finishing this unit out, they get a chance to march as a Roman army, experiencing first hand the improvements of the Roman Army over the Phalanx system of the Greeks and how those changes shaped history.
