Kristen Alston
Mrs. Alston will be teaching Honors Physics. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Alabama. She worked for six years for the Department of Environmental Management, during which time she earned her Professional Engineer license. After taking time off to raise four children, she has taught upper school math and science for five years. She enjoys being able to show students how God’s handiwork can be seen through science, as well as examples of where the classroom meets her experiences from the real world. She and her husband Johnnie have four children, Owen, Brodie, Ansley, and Abigail. In her spare time she enjoys knitting, gardening, and sewing.
