Stephen Wales
Mr. Wales teaches part-time at Eastwood. He taught Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus at Eastwood from 2005-2010 and has been back on staff teaching Pre-Calculus since 2021. He taught at the University of Alaska as an adjunct instructor for 2 years and he developed and instructed professional military education for the Air Force for 19 years. He retired from the Air Force with 28 years of active and reserve service, both as a civil engineer and an educator. He is currently a full-time civilian at Air University at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. Mr. Wales received his bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and has master degrees in Biblical Theology, Adult Education, and Military Operational Arts and Sciences. He married his high school sweetheart and together they have homeschooled their five children, aged 25 through 9. When not spending time with his family, he loves reading about theology, politics, and American history as well as gardening, woodworking, camping, and hiking.
