Karen Quallio

Karen Quallio teaches 3rd grade humanities. She attended Auburn University for college and earned a bachelor‘s degree in English with a concentration in technical communication. After a short time teaching middle school grammar in the Montgomery public school system, she decided to fulfill her childhood dream of going to law school. In 2009, she graduated from Thomas Goode Jones school of Law with a juris doctorate and subsequently became a member of the Alabama State Bar. Following law school, Karen worked for Alfa Insurance teaching policy and compliance to insurance professionals. This is Karen’s 5th year teaching 3rd grade at Eastwood. Karen first learned of Eastwood as a parent. She loves that Eastwood is devoted to teaching to each child’s heart and centering Christ in all subjects. She has two children currently attending Eastwood Christian School. In her spare time, Karen loves to study photography and take pictures. She is also an avid reader and loves all genres of literature.
