Jessica Head

Mrs. Jessica Head earned her Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Mobile in 2013. She has taught in both public and classical Christian school settings and has also served in children's ministry. Most recently, she worked as a writer and marketing strategist, helping Christian and nonprofit organizations communicate their mission and tell stories that inspire others.

As Eastwood's fourth-grade Humanities teacher, Mrs. Head is passionate about helping students grow as readers, writers, and thinkers. She loves exploring great books, studying history, and helping students see God's providential hand at work throughout His world and throughout history. Her desire is to cultivate a classroom where students learn to love what is true, good, and beautiful while growing in wisdom and faith.

Mrs. Head and her husband, Trey, have two children, Eleanor and Drew, who are students at ECS. The Heads are members of Morningview Baptist Church, where Trey serves as Minister of Worship and Missions. In her free time, Mrs. Head enjoys reading, experimenting with new recipes, watching musicals, and antiquing.
