Priscilla Stewart
Priscilla Stewart is a native of Montgomery and a graduate of Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi where she earned a Bachelor's in Christian Education with an emphasis in English. She had the privilege of being on the founding committee of Eastwood school beginning in 1994. With the beginning of Eastwood' s first academic year in 1996 she served as a teacher and Administrative Assistant. She left Eastwood in 2004 to pioneer the opening of Cornerstone Classical Christian Academy at Morningview Baptist Church in Montgomery serving for fifteen years as a teacher and Principal.
She has been married to John Stewart since 1979 and they have been blessed with ten children, now adults, including five graduates of Eastwood. The Stewart clan also consists of nine spouses and 22 grandchildren, two of whom presently attend Eastwood.
Priscilla and John moved to Tallassee in 2019 and now attend Carrville Baptist Church. The Stewarts serve the church in hospitality ministry and teach a Sunday School class for parents of young children.
Priscilla has taught many subjects and grade levels over the years and is excited to return to Eastwood as a co-teacher for the fifth grade.
